This is an interesting map revealing insights on how the world aligned itself between the two superpowers during the Cold War. With one of my majors being global affairs, I enjoy looking at maps like these that reveal and represent political, cultural, and social information not just throughout history but also for current events. These maps provide a new perspective to get a different visual look at global events and international relations.
